I am.5'5 and 180lbs and got a size L and it fit perfectly. The material is a thick ribbed spandex material that snatches you in the right areas. Only thing about this dress that is uncomfortable would be that the shoulder area is very wide almost to the point that it looks off the shoulder. If you want a more comfy feeling i would size up one size since it does suck you in and its a lil hard to put on due to the thick snatching material.
