After looking at the reviews I ordered a 1X. Some said the split was too high so I played it safe. I am 5'2" and 220lbs, I usually wear an XL. I could have gotten the XL but I'm not upset. The dress is very cute, The black material is sheer, but not revealing. The side cut out is controlled by a drawstring so you can control the size of it. I haven't worn it out yet, but I can't wait!
